Nice in-depth interview about the process surrounding how he adjusted to moving to North America.

Pavel Buchnevich is the Rangers' youthful spark plug

As for his play, he has 23 points in 31 games. He's been one of our best players. His usage is still a problem, but better than last season. He's 20th in the league in 5 on 5 P/60, 35th all situations P/60. He should play like 4-5 minutes more per game, but AV has to give his vets their minutes.

he’s a beast. currently has DD as his center and he’s still playing very well, with Nieves as well i believe he had a 3 point game? (or maybe it was 2) but still, he creates offense every game on any line. he needs to be out there more he’s a huge threat offensively and his defense has massively improved. on pace for 60+ and i believe he’ll get there. next year he should explode offensively. one of the most underrated young stars in the league

AV is really deterring his development by reducing his icetime. Some of this could be due to Zibanejad's concussion though.

There is one constant with #89. He consistently drives offense when he is on the ice. Game in game out. His first game with Desharnais was majic. A lot of that was Kredier and Buch though. Since then, Desharnais hasn't been as effective with the #20 and #89. Came back to reality a bit. I would expect them to get more minutes when Zbad returns, but then again...AV !

I think that'll come next season. I believe AV is starting to realize that his formula for winning includes Buchnevich in a big role. I don't think he really likes him that much, he's not his kind of player, we've heard some of the questionable things AV has said, but unlike last year where we could win with Buch not even in the lineup, I don't think thats the same this season.

I think it'll take time for AV to let Buch's ice time pass that of Nash, Hayes, Kreider, Grabner, Fast, guys like that. You could still make reasonable arguments for Miller and Zucc deserving more ice time, and Zibanejad is just as productive right now as Buch offensively, along with playing a big PK role, so he probably should get more playing time than Buch. I expect like 60 points this season, and if he gets full ice time next season, maybe 70 or so.
