Two primary assists for Kapanen so far in the first period tonight against TPS.
Now has the same amount of points he had last season, but in 14 games instead of 47.
Just out of curiosity, what is the reasoning behind him having apparently missed 10 games? Did their season start while he was still over here? I seem to have missed the proverbial bus
He's up to 9 goals and 16 points so far this season in 16 games. He's 2nd in scoring on his team despite playing 11-14 less games than the people he's around.
I would not be suprissed if Kapanen end up doing what TT did last year in the WJC. Go KK!
2 goals tonight. Second goal was amazing individual effort, coast to coast goal.

Goal production wasn't the reason why TT was important (and actually, TT had just one goal). And TT was the captain, I don't think Kapanen has that kind of leader mentality.I would not be suprissed if Kapanen end up doing what TT did last year in the WJC. Go KK!

Dont agree with you there, I think TT was the biggest reason why they won gold..He had a lot of ice time and responsibility, against sweden he played 14 minutes in the first period. Lead the team in points and in the final he was behind every goal.. I dont think kivi was a bigger reason then teravainen nither was saaros. Teravainen was the best player in that turnament. Kivi was a big faktor as for saaros and ristolainen but TT was the big reason! End of disscusion, thats what I think and im stucking to it!Karri Kivi and Juuse Saros were both bigger reason than Tervanainen for winning the gold.

Might be little bit offtopic for this conversation what you're doing right now, but does anyone know which junior teams Kasperi played before moving to Finland? Just curious.
As far as I know, he was born here and has played in the KalPa organization his whole career since his family has such close ties to the team. Could be wrong though.
