Johnston said yesterday he went home to see family.
So he could be going back?
KalPa is not saying yet that Kasperi would or wouldn't play for KalPa. So Pens haven't decided.
Johnston said yesterday he went home to see family.
And it was Sill who did it. Oh well, doesn't matter. Just really bad luck.

Interesting quote there by Johnston at the end of that video. He said that Kapanen could come back to NA after his season in Finland is finished, either to PIT or to WBS and that he will be that much better. Said he was close now. Is that even possible to see him in PIT/WBS this season? I mean, European schedule, international rules etc.. I was kinda surprised.
Some update to where Kapanen could go after his season finishes in Finland. That would be towards the end of March, no?
Regular season ends 12th of March so he should be back in North America in early April at latest, unless KalPa somehow manges to get past 1st/2nd round in playoffs.
Seems to be having quite the start to his season: 1 goal and 1 assist so far today (and still 10 min to go), plus 2 assists in his first 2 games. And a shootout winner.
4pts in 3 games? Good job, Kapanen.
Kapanen scored both goals today for KalPa in 2-3 overtime loss to HIFK.
3+3 in 4 games now, not too shabby
To those who have seen Kapanen play this year, would it be crazy to think that he could come to NA after his season and help the Pens this season?

Is kasperi injured?
9 games and 9 points in stingy FEL. Looks like Pens grabbed another steal at number 22.
Thats what i thinking too cause this guy seems like one of those smart players who allways wants to improove. I think is a huge steal at 22 and wish he dropped to 24 but im happy with mccann too!
Hope he has a great year and makes the Pens hes a great player all ready
