I thought you knew buddy, you have by far the most responses in this thread, not to mention when the Canucks played the Devils it was your time zone.

He was "healthy scratch" but some thinks it's a minor injury from his fight, so he was scratched. Wanted him to rest it a few days.

I had a family engagement I didnt get to see the game. I watched the highlights and didnt see Virtanen so when I looked up the box score he wasnt listed.

Hope his hand is ok.

He looked good at times this game, but my god he's taken some absolutely brutal penalties this tournament. The very definition of an all the tools, no tool box player.

I'd imagine his confidence is at an all-time low right now (if not, he needs to give his head a shake) - the Canucks need to send him back to junior to get some back.

I feel like a ***** for saying this but god I have never hated a junior player more, just so many bonehead plays. Terrible the entire tournament.

Like i said the WJC is a small sample size and many [mod] feel the need to judge a player based on 5 or so games here. With that being said he did not have a good tourny but that does not mean he will not or can not be an impact player in the nhl

He's supposed to be one of the mature ones and he single handedly costs Canada the game in the 3rd with TWO penalties on the same play. I heard someone say he didn't even register a point in the tourny, is this true??
