He would have been picked earlier if didn't get injured last season, he just wasn't the same player at the U18's. Glad he's doing well, really rooting for this guy.

At this point, we're still trying guys out on the first line: Krejci, Lucic and ?????. I'm ready to try DP but our front office is going to be conservative, I'll bet.

Quite uncommon it seems, though it's also a bit unusual to play in the AHL at all at that age. Filatov seems to be the only recent one to go close to 1 PPG over a more or less complete season.

Great performance, 7 shots on goal and multiple grade A setups. Very unlucky to not score a point. Maybe his ability to move so swiftly in small spaces suits NA game.

Doesn't even tell the whole story. Flubbed a breakaway that I don't believe counted as a shot. Set up Reilly Smith for a partial breakaway in OT. Made a number of other really nice passes. In short, he was very impressive.

Went to the game last night. He is quick and shifty as hell. Had one play where he fanned a shot, simply reloaded and fired a pea. Couldnt believe the goalie made yhe save. He is the real deal. Gotta think he stays up.
