He's been recalled by the Bruins - should be in the lineup this week.

*Hoping* he gets shifts with Krejci.

He will... It's either him or Griffith, as Eriksson on the 1st line will never happen because... Why fix your 1st line when your 3rd is doing ok? When they're on the ice together because of a weird change, they score a goal after dominating for 45 seconds, seperated right after.

They want to give him the best chance to succeed and he's not a 3rd line type of guy. At the beginning of the season, Claude and Chiarelli were saying if he made the team he would play on the 1st line because of his style.

1st goal for Pasta

Almost got an empty netter to finish off the hattrick but he shot it a second too late, he probably thought he had more time cause it looked pretty funny.

Yeah, that was too bad.. at least he still got things to work on :D Congratz on those two goals, he was really good.

He already looks great as a skinny 18 year old. Give him a summer or two to get stronger and more experienced and we've got a player on our hands!

He's a great kid, always smiling, just loves hockey. Dream come true for him to be playing in the NHL and he gets to do it on his idol's wing. :) Not sure if he'll stay up or not, they've got 2 more games to decide, but he definitely did some convincing today. No matter what, his future looks bright. Very happy for him.

First 18 year old in 10 years (Bergeron in 2004) to score multiple goals in a game.

I'm not a big (or even small) 'prospects guy' so maybe I'm just missing it, but he's got to be the most underrated prospect in hockey (and on HFBoards) at this point, doesn't he? When you consider his age, the numbers he has put up in the AHL to this point, the fact he is just the 4th player from last years draft to play NHL games (the other 3 being the top 3 picks) you would think this thread would be longer than 140 posts and the general 'buzz' around him would be considerably higher. I guess I would understand it better if he was property of the Coyotes or Hurricanes, but the Bruins? This place is crawling with Bruins fans and the franchise in general has one of the largest fan bases and media presence in the league.

His player discussion thread is Part 2 with over 400 posts on the Bruins board.

Fair enough... I guess I'm just sort of surprised he hasn't resonated much outside of "Bruins' land" as just doing a quick glance it seems several other picks from the '14 draft have made it to "Part 2" here on the prospects board.

There's just not a lot to say. He's awesome and is going to one day be really awesome.

The guys that usually get the long threads are those that have attitude issues, large numbers of doubters, etc etc.

Pasta's good and is getting better by the day.

How can they send him down? The guy is having an amazing year with PPG stats in the AHL at the age of 18. He should be on the Bruins for the remainder of the season. Scratch him if he has a few bad games.

What a steal...kid is going to be an absolute stud

him and nylander are best friends too, going to be cool seeing them battle on the ice
