Show me your list from before the draft since you are so smart. This post is kinda silly, when you start saying things like "proven" for players drafted 9 months ago it's tough to take seriously.

It is not just this season, he also played in allsvenskan last season and did that very well. He was one of the youngest in the draft with tons of potential and was one of the few that really have prove much at senior level, which give hime high floor as well. So he both had a high floor and high ceiling, in top 10 he should definatly have been pick in at the draft day.

People fall to much on hype from junior leagues. Look at how good the majority actually becomes at senior level. Players like Pastrnak are rare, and should be hold much higher in general among the jokes to scouts, that first looks at passport, second size, then passport again, then some down the line skills and what they have prove.

Totally agree

2 points today, including the GWG in OT. 10-15-25 in 40 games. I know it's only been a year, but I wonder where he'd go in a re-draft. Top 15, one would think.

1 goal away from tying Seguin and Kessel in rookie year goal totals. At the same age, while playing half a season less.

We would not be in a playoff position without him. Crazy that he's had such an impact at the age of 18. The sky is the limit for him.

Winner of the 7th player award, 1+1 on the scoresheet and 2nd star of the game. Great night for him :handclap:. On pace for 54 points.

Should have gone top 5 in the 2014 draft and I don't think it's even close anymore.

Well that's hindsight. But NOT in handsight, he was CLEARLY, for me, a top 20 pick at the draft. No question. Besides, a career is more than a sprint. Not because others will start their career 1 year later that they won't be able to be significant players too.

21 points in his last 25 games played. All in the home stretch of February/March with the Bruins fighting for a playoff spot. Not a single player on the team has more points over the past two moths....

Over his past 20 games, his Points/60 minutes is 3.48. He's putting up crazy numbers... and he's doing it with 9-13 minutes of ice time a game.

He's had a combined 23:32 (12:20, 11:12) minutes of ice time the past two games. 2 goals, 2 assists.

It really seems like Pastrnak's play this season (along with Spooner) is one of the big reasons why Boston will make the playoffs. It's really incredible for an guy just drafted to have this kind of an impact early on in his career

Understatement of the century...these kids (along with Rask) are dragging this team to the brink of making the playoffs.

I love these kids.

He'll be traded in a few years. He's way too offensive :sarcasm:

Please don't joke like that....not even with the sarcasm.

Cause knowing the people running our team, it is a very real and very scary possibility.
