NFL: 2025 Musings and News: Tis the Off-season

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
Price of Edge rushers went up over the past 3 days with the Crosby and Garrett extensions and those were contract #3 for them.

For LV, Chinn comes in at about half the annual AAV for Moehrig. See how he fits into Graham's scheme. If the play is close, they get some cap savings on it.

Lame how these NFL "insiders" now have to put the agents' names in these tweets. I wonder if the networks like seeing these guys giving free advertising to agents like this.
Maybe it was asked for to get the source. But I do see the free marketing side of it.

It’s weird to watch this offseason for the Bears

They are modeling themselves and this offseason after the Lions

Last year it was all about skill positions, now it’s all about the trenches. They’ve signed/traded a G, G, C, DL, DT with big money

Right now wouldn’t be even the most surprised if they tried to land their own Gibbs at the draft and go full Lions

We saw it again this season the trenches are the King and Bears are finally realizing that

Baker/Darnold kind of in line with each other. Baker in Sam's body would be a much better QB. But, might not have the same swagger if he did.

Apparently, Chinn is the nephew of Steve Atwater which is funny because the Raiders safety room already includes Isaiah Pola-Mao who's the nephew of Troy Polamalu and Trey Taylor who's the cousin of Ed Reed. Unfortunately, none of them have anywhere near the talent of their hall of fame relatives.
