I don't care how tall this kid is, he's a first round talent.

If he drops out of the top 30 that's a crime.

I think he has most dynamic offensive skills in entire draft. If he was 6'0+ i think he would go top 5. Another Kucherov in the making?

Agree few inches taller he's potential top 5 pick. Would love if my Red Wings drafted him, love his skill. His size does not worry me.

Is anyone worried about his skating? He's not a bad skater, but when your that small you need to be an incredible skater to make the show. Abramov's skating is pretty good, but may hold him back.

He reminds me of Timashov from last years draft. Maybe a bit more dynamic. Right now I have him pencilled in as a middle of the second type guy.

Skating is something that can easily be improved upon especially in the off season, same as fitness and strength

Honestly, I don't see any red flags with his skating. He's fast and has explosive acceleration. Of course he is not Bure, but he isn't worse skater than let's say Gaudreau.

Scored 2+2 in 5-2 win over Val-d'Or Foreurs , and then scored the only goal in 1-3 loss to Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. I think, he's going to be a nice pick for some team in the 3rd round. Another Kucherov.

Russian? Played in the Q? Skilled player? = next Kucherov.

Book it, cause every player pans out to be the exact same as the last one whom he was somewhat similar too.

Abramov looked great in Russia, now he looks great in Canada, but yeah, I don't think he will be the next Kucherov, I think he'll be just Abramov. And he'll be as good as Kucherov or even better.

i don't know whether abramov will be better, but talentwise they're on the same page. yes

A bunch of teams will pass on Abramov for players who will not be good enough to tie his skates.

If he gets to 100 pts he's going to be in pretty good company. 100 pts in his draft year while leading his team in scoring by quite a bit, that actually doesn't happen that often in the CHL. Might be Claude Giroux story all over again.

I dunno. I like Rubtsov's all-around talent way better. You'd be hard pressed to find a single weakness in Rubtsov's game, or a situation he can't be utilized in.
But, yeah, offensively Abramov is better.
