I think he has most dynamic offensive skills in entire draft. If he was 6'0+ i think he would go top 5. Another Kucherov in the making?
Is anyone worried about his skating? He's not a bad skater, but when your that small you need to be an incredible skater to make the show. Abramov's skating is pretty good, but may hold him back.
He reminds me of Timashov from last years draft. Maybe a bit more dynamic. Right now I have him pencilled in as a middle of the second type guy.

Russian? Played in the Q? Skilled player? = next Kucherov.
Book it, cause every player pans out to be the exact same as the last one whom he was somewhat similar too.
i don't know whether abramov will be better, but talentwise they're on the same page. yesAbramov looked great in Russia, now he looks great in Canada, but yeah, I don't think he will be the next Kucherov, I think he'll be just Abramov. And he'll be as good as Kucherov or even better.
He's number 52 in the TSN's mid-season ranking.
He's going earlier than third round.
A bunch of teams will pass on Abramov for players who will not be good enough to tie his skates.
if he had the same stats in the OHL, would he go top ten in the draft ?

when i saw them playing together on the nt last year abramov was better by a substantial margin. talentwise abramov is way better, but in the nhl size matters...How does Abramov compare talent wise to German Rubtsov, who is ranked near him in many draft rankings?
