2nd liner. 20 goal scorer in his prime.
That's selling him extremely short. With his progression, over the last year, a 20-goal ceiling would be an indication that he didn't live up to expectations and his development went sideways.

I see a 30-30 guy with maybe even higher upside. His shot and offensive instincts are tremendous.

I guess we will find out in the years to come.

Might have one of the best releases outside the NHL. Will be interesting to see if he gets some games in with Vancouver at the end of this year- I think he could do some serious damage if he can improve his first step next summer.

Boeser has one of the most elite package I've ever seen from a Canucks prospect.

Elite shot.
Elite vision.
Elite motor.
Elite puck skills.
Elite character.

The only thing missing is speed - that said he's not a slow skater by NHL standards.

If he can add elite speed to his repertoire I see him as a better Vladimir Tarasenko.

Forgot to mention his elite hockey IQ and elite creativity.

Boeser has broken so many records it's hard to count and his development is tracking to be like a 1st liner or star forward in the NHL.
Everyone wants to rip on him because he's a Canucks prospect. If he played for Chicago, everyone would love him to death.

Great pick by the Canucks. Hopefully they have no problem signing him I want to see what he can do in the NHL next season. He might be the best prospect to step into the NHL next season as I think his game will transition really well.

well since you included that last part...

I consider Dubois and Keller to be better.

Obviously i meant drafted prospects only lmao. Cant compare 19 Y.O to predrafted.

Okay and hes still top 3.

Dubois and Keller are debatable too. We havnt seen enough of them right now. Theres also Rantanen who i would put up there too. Everyone else you could easily take Boeser over.

I consider Rantanen to be better than Boeser, but he's just in SA on a conditioning stint, is he not? I could've sworn that he was technically a part of the Avs roster that didn't get to play strictly due to injury.

Not sure

Either way, its not worth a lol no response.

He was sent down, its basically a conditioning stint, but it was not classified as one officially. As for best prospects outside the NHL but drafted? He could be top 3, but depending on who sent down that could change in a week. So many top kids are on the bubble (Strome, Sergachev, Puljujarvi, Connor, Tkachuk, Barzal, etc).

Personally, I'd have Keller, Dubois, Juolevi, Rantanen, and A. Nylander ahead of him at the moment.
