What a beauty.

He also beast Parise's 26 goal freshman season tonight with his 27th.

1.43 PPG, he will most likely go pro now.

Praise did it in 39 games (26-35-61) compared to Boeser's 43 games (27-33-60) but close enough, if he turns out a Parise level NHLer - great pick.

I know for a fact that prior to this game he wanted to return to Grand Forks as he loves it. I am not sure how winning the National Championship changes things.

He was really good last night. Didn't realize his game was so well rounded. Kind iof reminded me of a poor mans Corey Perry but I hate saying that because Canucks fans are going to start overhyping the **** out of him.

We kind of already are hyping him... And to be honest, we should be. The season he just had was historic for a freshman.

Lol. Too late, the hype train is already steaming down the track.

I hope this guy will have the chance to play with the sedins.

I think he'll get a chance with them, but I'm not sure if he's a good fit to play with them. The best guys to play with the twins don't necessarily have good shots, but they're fast enough to retrieve pucks, backcheck, and they know where to go. Hansen and Burrows are two prime examples of this.

Imagine a prospect pool of:

Patrik Laine
Brock Boeser
Jake Virtanen
Jared McCann
Bo Horvat
Thatcher Demko
Ben Hutton
Nikita Tryamkin

Wait it's almost a reality. :yo:

Wanted the leafs to pick up this kid last year badly, now he's absolutely lighting up div 1. Cant really say I expected him to produce as much as he has, maybe PPG. Great pick up for the canucks

I believe there is still a fair gap between boeser and Connor

I don't think it's as big as people believe. Boeser started this season slow but has been on fire.
His 25points in last 10 games is higher than Connors ppg for the season.
You also gotta consider that Boeser played in a way harder conference. The big 10 is a joke compared to the nchc

That play at 0:33, good ****.

Watched that play probably about 50 times this year, never gets old, even better I don't even need to be a massive Canuck homer to appreciate how great it is (how much I like Boeser oth is definitely total homerism). That's a Canuck prospect, a Hawks prospect and 2 undrafted ufa's I think. Play of the year, in any league imo..

Connor also had 13 pts after 13 games if I remember correctly, so that goes for both players.

But Boeser is awesome too.

Will he stay in university and opt out of signing with Vancouver? He didn't look thrilled to be drafted a Canuck

He always looks pretty uninterested in his interviews. I think he's obviously more polished than Vesey and will be NHL ready sooner.

AHL/NHL would be a good choice, but not really needed till 2017.2018. Next Year the AHL team will have McCann, Virtnanen(?), Cassels, Stetcher(most likely), Gaunce(?), Labate, Grenier,

Would be nice to see a line of Boeser - McCann - Virtanen in the AHL for a bit, but with the Canucks most likely drafting a Finn Forward, there isn't much room in the NHL for him this upcoming year, if say Puljaarvi comes over, he'd essentially be competing with McCann, Virtanen and others for 1 or 2 open spots.

Sedin Sedin Hansen
Baertschi Horvat Puljaarvi
Rodin Sutter x(Burrows?)
Dorsett Grandlund Etem
Vey Gaunce

Virtanen won't be in the AHL....and I don't think McCann will be either, or not for long.
