Well to be fair, Tyson Jost isn't exactly a terrible replacement.
Didn't know he was joining North Dakota next year. Will be nice to see him with Boeser for sure.

He's phenomenal
He could be if he works on his skating. looks really slow out there. That won't fly in the NHL.

apparently was it Linden or Benning? at the town hall meeting hinted they "Management" wanted him to spend another year in college, or was it he (boeser) wanted another year in college?
Benning said he has a "gut feeling" that he will return to college for a year.
A recent interview with Boeser said he wasn't sure what he was going to do.
Vancouver would be stupid to sign him now.
He'll have Tyson Jost as his lineman next year, and maybe schmaltz as their centerman.
Rather have a prospect play another year with those 2 than some AHL team.
With Boeser's 26th goal, he now ties Zach Parise for most goals scored as a freshman on UND.
This was a playoff game not reg season no?

Big face off win, then shot on net to create the rebound for Schmaltz.
Surprised this and earlier the White thread weren't more active. Rare opportunity to watch a game on Canadian television. I was surprised he was taking that face-off, I thought he was primarily a winger. That was a crazy finish. That line is death. I think Caggiulia stirs the drink, but Boeser and Schmaltz look fantastic as well.
Would call it a shot more than a dish, but his strong year continues. This guy can do it all. Beauty of a pick. Love how clutch he is, wins the faceoff and then gets the puck back and dishes it to Schmaltz for the game winner. 2 assists tonight.

I'd say top 10 is pretty borderline, no one really deserves to be moved out the top 10 (a argument could be made on Zacha and Meier), and Connor, Rantanen and Aho have had very strong years. Plus White, Barzal, and Konecny also exceeded expectations. 2015 was very deep. All he needs to do is cap it off with a frozen four goal winner, and he would imo be a top 10 talent last year, if he is not already.
The average world juniors was probably due to the big ice. Does not fit his game at all due to his average skating ability.
You mean Benning won't force underdeveloped players in the NHL next year? He'd get top line minutes in the AHL and would probably play with someone like Jared Mccann. And Utica is a pretty good hockey town to boot
