That's fair except Boeser is also burying Toews' Soph season for goals too. 18 in 34 for Toews, Boeser's on pace for 24 in 34. Of course Toews racked up more assists and points but I'd say anytime you can be ahead of a player like Toews on a stat its impressive.

numbers is one thing but why bring up the Toews comp at all.

Toews not only was dominant at teh World juniors the year after his draft but also at the WHC as an underager.

Boeser is doing very well in college but still has a long way to go to becoming an NHL player nevermind a star.

Flames will still take him for an emerging 4th liner

"We think that ferkland is a good player we believe that he can help us now in making the playoffs despite us having less than 5% of a chance. This all comes down to we have to fix the age gap because that's a thing we completely made up to blame Gillis for us making dumb moves."

Well the haters are allowed to bring up the bust card on our other prospects we can certainly compare him to similar stats players.

Why not bring it up? Are you unable to handle the duality of ackowledging that his play in college is in close proximity to an established NHL star without necessarily making the leap to saying he will be as good as Toews in the NHL?

Shame. I don't find it all that hard.

That 2015 draft class looks pretty ridiculous, considering how well the latter guys are doing (Connor, White, Boeser, Konecny, Roslovic, etc). Any chance they bring him up through the AHL/NHL next year?

If someone had a clip of his first goal, that'd be awesome.

AHL is definitely a possibility, but Benning is supposedly leaning towards giving him another year at UND.

Got a source ? But it be nice though. Last thing I wanna hear is someone telling us "well if I was him I wait it out and become a ufa, and im a Canuck fan so you can't report me."

Most prospects spend 2 years at the minimum in College.

Eichel and Larkin are definitely outliers.

How different is the NCHC from the Big Ten league that Conner plays in because he has 54 points in 30 games. That's a huge difference in points.

i have heard from others that NCHC is the harder league if i recall. someone in the connor thread was saying his points are good, but aren't worth as much due to the weak league. but i dont actually know personally

It's just different and some conferences differ year to year. But this year the NCHC has more potent teams as you can see from the rankings.

The Big 10 has 6 Teams:
Minnesota (14)
Michigan (6)
Penn State (15)
Ohio State (37)
Michigan State (44)
Wisconsin (42)

NCHC has 8
North Dakota (2)
Denver (7)
St Cloud (3)
Mine Duluth (16)
Miami (19)
Omaha (13)
Western Michigan (38)
CC (53)
