I wanted the Flames to pick either him, Barzal or Connor at 15. Glad I was right about all 3 being good players. I'm not mad we traded for Hamilton, but it would have been awesome to get either one of those 3 players. Nice job Canucks, you've got yourself a keeper and deserve one. Boeser has instantly become one of my favorite players.

He is our best forward, all things considered.

I have to agree with this. Sure he is not as truculent or as aggressive as Horvat, but Boeser is truly more creative with the puck, and a better (positional) player then Horvat when it comes to timing, and being at the right place at the right time. But it was very very close for me.

I'm not sure he can handle it yet. He struggles a bit to keep up with the play. Needs to improve his conditioning and skating.

It's scary to think what he could do if his skating improves. Scary for other teams i mean.
