Brännstam had a really rough shift leading up to that goal. Sweden should be happy to trail by one, and I have a good feeling about them coming back.

Defenders are looking meak. Actually, scratch that. Whole team is looking meak today. Russians are first to every puck.

And the weird thing is Sweden are normally known for their elite defense...? However this game ends, I just want my Team USA to be no lower than 2nd to finish group play.
The 2021 team is suppose to be elite defensively.

The whole team didn't look good. They are lucky to be down by one.

The no goal call was right, Podkolzin pushes the pad into the net.

Russia really driving the net. They're all over Wallstedt. They really learned from the Czech game.

Khustnutdinov/Podkolzin/Amirov making plays.

Sweden does not have a very good defense in this tournament. The forward group isn't very good either due to corona. Goalies are good though.

Let's remember Canada and Russia are the top dogs, US/Sweden in a tier below that.

Yes, but something is clearly up with him tonight. This is the slowest I've seen him look, and I've watched him a decent amount.

Was just about to say the same thing, I’ve watched a lot of Broberg this year he definitely looks off tonight and slower. He’s usually such a dynamic skater, his skating still looks excellent because of how good of a skater he is, but it doesn’t seem like his usual self.

He did just come off an injury and missed the last game, he keeps like leaning down in weird way away from the play. Something looks off.

Hopefully adrenaline kicks in and/or it’s nothing serious.

Sweden should stop mixing and matching D pairings on PK and at 5v5.

Rolling seven... when have 2x J20 Dmen playing... is less than ideal.

There’s only one reason why Amirov and Podkolzin are ripping it up these last 2 games.

They clearly saw my post about Them being the most disappointing player so far this tournament:D

Is that you Craig Button??

I hope Russia wins this game just because it makes tomorrow's USA vs Sweden game really fun because the winner will avoid Finland and Canada.

Amirov with a goal, disallowed goal, PPG in the tournament with 2 periods to play, and still eligible for next year's WJC. Been very impressed with how complete his game is. Lethal around the net.

Knyazev standing out as far as Russia D goes. One of the only guys on that blue line with any modicum of hockey IQ. Solid pick by SJ.

Broberg took him well to the outside. Hence hitting the goalie to go for a goal lol

Umm no he didn’t. He got walked. He didn’t even to Podz until Podz was in the crease.
