Man, I wonder what the deal with Hamilton is?

Sounds like Carolina is ready to move on from him already.

Carolina's museums are too good? He can't focus on hockey.

Haven't seen myself, but didn't most say our new museum was crap? Might be a nice fit in Edmonton.

Sekera's an unknown right now, so I doubt Ottawa would be interested in him.

I dream of a universe where we can trade his rights to Ottawa for chop liver.

He’s shy and a huge introvert. Causes problems with team bonding and chemistry.

Are there sources to prove that this is all it is? Whether or not he's shy and introverted he's still a really good hockey player and being the shy silent type shouldn't effect a team to the point where you're trading him away.

The museum is good I thought. I only saw it for an hour while visiting though.

Name 1 where this is the case. Sekeracame back after his last injury and as far as we knoe he will be back again at some point. So he doesht count.

I suspect he means they never really come back the same as they were before the injury.

Listen to a report on him and they said he is more of a 3rd line player and PP guy. He struggles a lot playing top 4 so I would say stay away from him

After watching the Wings play, Athanasiou or however it's spelled would be a nice pickup if he's for sale.

I ran a shop in nisku for 4 years before going back to school 2 years ago, and the amount of people we ended up sending to rehab because we were informed by our lawyers that they could sue us was crazy.

It's not as cut and dry as having to ask for help first anymore, especially with mental illness. Part of the reason these people are where they are is because they're scared or unable to ask for help.
We have strict D&A policies, and if you violate them you're gone.

The rumors I've heard is that he is not a "good ole' hockey boy", and is a bit of a different duck, with his own tastes and style, etc. Some have speculated that this leads to him not being a great dressing room guy. No idea if any of that is true or not, just passing along what I have heard.
You heard that on Oilers Now like the rest of us, don't pretend like you have a source.

No direct source, I don’t think organizations flaunt information like that out of respect. Just speculation from his Boston days, not much to go on (considering they accused Seguin of attitude issues,) but from Treliving’s comments after trading him I have no doubts that is actually why. To an extent anyway.

You don’t trade a quality 6’6 right shot dman twice in how many years? It wouldn’t surprise me if he has trouble maintaining some form of a relationship with his teammates.

Manning for Wiese??
While one of the few bright spots with Chia he is quicker to come to terms with his f***-ups than most GM's, but he had a hard on for Manning for like 2 years, I'm doubtful he'd change his tune that quickly.

The moment Calgary traded him away I saw him as tainted goods.
And when he was in Boston I do recall someone out of Boston saying he had personality issues, but I've never actually heard what they are.
And yes absolutely nobody in the right mind trades good right handed d-man let alone 2 teams let alone having a 3rd team getting ready to trade him unless there's something wrong with the guy on the inside, because from what we see on the ice he seems like an awesome product.
Maybe a reverse Evander Kane that's still evil? lol

Anyone think we could swing Lucic + for Bjugstad in the offseason? Maybe a team like Florida thinks that Lucic out of the spotlight may help him get back to his old game and either way it is two under performing players. Not sure what evens it out value wise.

Florida saves two million in salary if it occurs after the signing bonus and then 1 million ish for the next two years. It would get us a third line center who is serviceable although overpaid but save some cap space but we would pay more in salary which I dont think we would care about.

At the deadline:
Spooner + Bear + 2nd 2018 for Anthanasiou
Reider + Benson + 2nd 2019 for Jakob Silfverberg

We would need one trade to save $1.65M on so maybe one of the following:
Talbot + for Scott Laughton +Neuvirth
Benning/Manning + for a bottom six forward

If you can't deal Benning/Manning I would wait and see if a playoff team loses a D or two to injury needs bodies and try and strategically put Manning on the Waiver wire when you think there is a higher likelihood of a team picking him up.

Try and take a spin at the playoffs with:

Anthanasiou/RNH - McDavid - Chiasson
RNH/AA - Drai - Silfverberg
Lucic - Khaira/XXX- Pulju/Yamo
Cave - Brodziak - Kassian

With the XXX being Laughton in this Scenario. If that occured bump Khaira to LW and Lucic down to 4LW.

Not true. So far Klefbom has come back better than before every time.
I just mean they never seem to come back in the timeline they expect. I'm sure they'll both be back but it will be too late at this rate...

lol, no i don't have a source, when did I said I did? I heard the rumors the same place everybody else did:HF, radio, etc.... lol, settle down man
Sorry dude, didn't mean to come across harsh. Getting sick of people being like "oh, I'm hearing this" when they're repeating MSM guys or Oilers Now interviews. Makes it sound like a bigger deal than it actually is.
