That we know about atleast.
If Gregor reports that McDavid has been traded then we are safe.
That we know about atleast.
Maybe, but I bet they don't want Koskinen to step foot in the room again as a teammate.I guarantee they are a lot more level headed then people here lol.
Lol, okay Holland
Is Hyman not a UFA? Why would we give Toronto anything to sign and trade instead of just signing him ourselves?
It was said he was allowed to talk to other teams on Saturday. Sounds like he liked Seattle and did us a favor on the expansion front in doing so. Last little bonus from him for us I guessClearly the case, though I still find it somewhat concerning he jumped on the first ship leaving port when he could have waited a week and had his pick of the fleet.
What can ya do, though.

Holland does run a relatively tight ship.So no one knew we gave him permission to talk to other teams until now?

For those who don’t realize we live in the most northern city we’re not Vegas or Tampa or Dallas. We have the most travel of all nhl teams. We’re a Canadian city many players don’t want to play in Canada. We’re always going to have to overpay for FA. Doesn’t matter who the gm is doesn’t matter we have a new arena doesn’t matter we have McDavid. It’s just the way it is and always has been unfortunately.

You kind of can. Nuge makes 6.25 at its highest and 2.25 at it's lowest
I won’t be either hahaI could definitely see us signing Hyman to an 8 year deal to get the cap hit lower. Holland won't be here to deal with it at the end.
Players are probably pretty happy if they get Hyman on their team.
They want to win.
So you are upset that he DIDNT overpay for Larsson...even though he offered more money?Wait, I take it back, Holland can’t pull off the simple 1-step negotiation strategy of paying out your ass.

Not technically a UFA until July 28th. Leafs continue to hold his rights. Leafs have the ability to sign an 8 year deal. Only the Leafs -but they can sign and trade to us.
f*** that I rather Hyman. I can stop watching the Oilers if need be. Leave my balls alone lolFor 8 f***ing years?
I’d rather get kicked in the nuts every Wednesday for 8 years.
In before we're penalized by the league for talking to Hyman before free agency due to some made up rule. Our 2023 1st round pick will be awarded to Tampa Bay and they will select Conor Bedard.
Hyman contracts I'd be happy with, by number of years:
1 x $7m = $7 mil
2 x $6.5m = $13 mil
3 x $6.5m = $19.5 mil
4 x $6m = $24 mil
5 x $5m = $25 mil
6 x $4m = $24 mil
7 x $3m = $21 mil
8 x $2m = $16 mil
For 8 f***ing years?
