You might be right on that one. Dorion knows no bounds on what can be leaked to the talking heads. He is pretty much the polar opposite of Chevy.
The more I hear about Vesalainen, the more I'd make him available in talks for Duchene/Stone. I want a cup.
Yep, Dorion is the king of leaking info to the media.
He needs to feel like he is in control somehow.
He hasn't been able to get into Chevy's head, so he is trying to rattle his cage.

I would wait to see how this Ottawa thing works out until we decipher what we are going to do in the summer. We have no idea what parts are moving which way. Who knows, Chevy may have fandangled a Chabot deal (oh man that would be t!ts). I’ll wait til the off season before worrying about gaps to fill on moves that may or may not be happening now.

Honestly I am finding this WAY more entertaining to watch this year since we are optically a more prominent player/shopper. I will rest well at night believing Chevy will find the balance.

I pretty much guess that this isn't going to happen anyways.

Yep we have one stubborn coach I'll tell you! Only way he'll try anything different to fix stuff is if he's totally backed into a corner with injuries or Chevy gets rid of his pets. Any other coach would have tried something different with Scheif/Wheels by now to split up the totally inept Laine-Little combo, but only listens to a couple guys on the team & if they say they want to be kept together forever, thats the way it will be until injuries dictate otherwise.

I'll play that game. Reverting back to Whilleees plan pretty much. Maybe get a guy like Staal for a 2nd this TD & perhaps some depth on D. In the offseason trade Connor/Ehlers for a dang good D like Pesce. Trade Trouba for a good C &/or prospects. Sign up Stone (or if not available Duchene) as a FA.
