On a side note: Dubas has to get his nerdy ass into everything doesn't he? Watch the Leafs be in the running for Hall, Landeskog, and Hamilton. Where will they get the money? I do not know. Dude is like a kid in a candy store every offseason

Wow. Lots of futures to move on from that bad contract. Ladd is at 5.5M for only 2 more years. Neal is at 5.75M for only 2 more years. Does this Ladd trade set the market for moving on from Neal?

This should also provide some perspective on why Hawks taking on Neal wasn’t really realistic in the Keith trade if the market value for 5.5M in cap is 2 2nds and a 3rd….

But yet we GAVE UP a third and a prospect for taking the 5.5 cap dump that is Keith from Chicago. How are people not seeing how crazy this is?

Wouldnt tarasenko to the oilers make sense? If blues are willing to lose him for nothing then the acquisition cost shouldnt be too much? 2 years is the ideal length of time rather than paying hyman, hall, landeskog huge $$$ for term (If hollway is going to be a 1/2lw). None of the these guys are shoot first players like tarasenko. And a motivated tarasenko playing for a contract in 2 years with either mcdavid or draisaitl would be great.

Because people don't consider a guy who was playing first pairing minutes last year a cap dump?
Shocking I know

I'm going to try and be patient and see what Holland has up his sleeve with maybe Seattle and Free Agency but it really isn't looking good.

Keith isn’t a cap dump can’t see how this board could possibly see this. He’s a legit 3-4 D in the league still

Too many fans drink the koolaid here, so no, people are not seeing how crazy this is.

All Holland had to do was literally wait until today in order to get a much better deal for Keith.

Guessing edmonton was on his no trade list and or Holland didn't like his caphit and injury history.

I'm not beat up about that one

That Ladd trade is all evidence needed for a competent organization to fire Holland.

Although we’re not a competent organization.

Ladd is not Keith. Not in current playing ability or past accomplishments and not in the intangibles front however you want to value those.

The only thing that's crazy is the fact that you're blatantly ignoring the difference between a player that hasn't played for two seasons and one that led his team in ice-time.
Cause that goes against his narrative?
