I don’t think so when Karlsson came out the other day saying it would be weird to be asked to waive 3 days before the deadline I think that ship sailed for this year.
The “but we need a centre!” made me laugh.
Need a centre for what? The mystery centre they need wouldn’t be as good as Miller and they suck with Miller. So what exactly is the centre going to do?

Well the first for this year for sure. But team could trade future firsts. They have seconds. They have prospects. But I agree, I dont think Grier is really going to get a much better offer. Because Karlsson has a NMC as well, it kind of prevents more competition as well. I mean if gets injured this season, SJ is hooped. I also just dont see the incentive for a contending team to trade in the summer.
He is an RFA with another year left. Is he even on the block? Not every player on a bottom team is up for grabs

They have no money and who is realistically left that helps? Apparently TVR was taken off the market, he would have helped, but I don't know anybody else. Sheary I suppose but I think Yamamoto can cover that bet if he plays to his capability.

Why? What else do we need? We got a top pair Dman, a 3C, Skinner is playing well. The only place I see a crack is RD and RW but even that's minor.

They do have money. Shore down. Get Raddysh, Justin Braun still help the team. Trade Yams, he hasn't played to his capability since his first stretch.
No reason to stop trading.
Hell even Adam Henrique helps.

To say we need him is a stretch. He barely played last game. our LD's are fine.
Going into the payoffs with Broberg and Vinny D as your 6-7D isn't ideal. Both so far can't handle strong comps.
