We are at exactly 0 cap space with a 22 man roster.

If we make a move, it has to be upgrading guys like Yamo or Ceci. So their contracts out, with retained contracts coming back. Seems more like the summer unfortunately...

Technical right now the team has zero cap space. I suspect they'll move Yamo to facilitate more, plus sending down Shore gives them enough space for a guy on cheap retention.

Maybe, but don't underestimate how hard sellers want to sell, Connor Bedard is almost there for all bad teams

I'm hoping we ship Yammer out tbh. Bring in a diamond in the rough power type forward. I'd like to see what our Defense does now the way it is. It encourages players to step up and develop.

As promising as Broberg and Desharnais look, I think they need one more vet defender for the right side. Bouchard, Broberg and Desharnais is too much inexperience for a team with Cup aspirations IMO.

I don't think the Wings want a contract back as well

Man, I'm hating Rishaug more and more. Does he realize Ekholm can play LD or RD? And you can EASILY switch Broberg anywhere with any RD. Makes it sounds like we can't change players around if needed. "Oh you traded Barrie...now there is no balance in the defence"...man, cry more?

I usually dont mind Rishaug and his ho-hum attitude but hes been unbearable. He thinks our defence is worse this year than last year.in his mind:

Keith+Barrie+Russell > Ekholm+VD+Broberg

I think this team really loves Yamamoto because hes a small guy that gives it his all and when you see that you realize you have no excuses. I'd imagine that last top 6 spot is his to lose.
