Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The Habs would take a chance with retention I assure you. They love French Canadian Centers
The only big re-signing for the team this offseason will be Bouchard's next contract. All LTIR comes off the books (Klef, Smith, and Murray) and 2.25M of dead cap (Lucic and Sekera) also comes off the books.
The Oilers should try and sign Orlov in the off-season

Nah, Neal's 1.9M is still around for another 2 seasons after this one.
Losing to Nashville tonight didn't help their cause.
I feel they missed out on an opportunity to cash in on guys like Reinhart and Duclair who don't have much of a future there.

Yep and that is why I could not figure out why some were pissed at what we gave up. He is just what we need and it comes a price.
He is a better all around than Barrie and will be able to settle down the D when shit goes wrong.
While Barrie is good on the powerplay he is a nightmare in his own zone. Ekholm is not and he transition from our zone to the offensive zone peacefully

You never really realize how much a buyout and dead cap can really hamper you down the road...it's pretty much the difference between a Yamamoto winger and a hyman level winger...
