If foegel gets 18 he's worth it. He's still young. Skates well, hits and mucks it up. Maybe he starts potting goals on a regular basis. I like what he brings lately.

Yup. I am seeing zero rumors almost 13 hours before the deadline lol

Everybody went crazy early. It was more fun IMO. Trades everyday and being able to talk about them instead of it all jam packed into 12 hours.

Planting Lucic in Calgary was all part of the plan so we could dump them in the playoffs a few years later. I hope they enjoyed that 3rd round pick

We are literally at $0 cap space with 22 guys on the roster, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one more move tbh.

In fact I think overall it'll be a bit busier today than people anticipate despite the big fish mostly having been moved already.

The only big re-signing for the team this offseason will be Bouchard's next contract. All LTIR comes off the books (Klef, Smith, and Murray) and 2.25M of dead cap (Lucic and Sekera) also comes off the books.

$1.85 Mil extra for Skinner. McLeod and Kostin also need a raise.

Hopefully the cap rises a bit this year.

Best part of the Ekholm deal is he has term so we do not need to go through this again next year. Signed for 3 years after this.

The best part of both Ekholm and Bjugstad hey seem to be real happy to be an Oiler. Also the word was Karlsson would only waive for 1 team and that was the Oilers. Times are changing and we will bring the cup back home as more and more players want to come to Edmonton.

I also think we get Karlsson in the off season with Campbell going the other way. I couldn't imagine having kids in a hockey crazy market and playing this bad. Kids are evil and I am sure they will here your dad sucks and worst. I see him accepting a trade back to Cal.
