He will be. Come the end of the year Holloway will be called up. I also expect both XB and Lavoie to be black aces

It's more this. There are about 10 markets that think that they can contend and want to load up for it, but can't.

Lots of moves, but not enough for a lot of the teams and their fans that are desperate to contend. Beyond just the deadline I think it is diminishing the overall quality of the on ice product over time as well. Teams will walk from the $3M QO on a decent player only to sign a player of lower overall quality to replace them only because it's cheaper.

The arbitration system and QO formula for RFA's only works if the cap escalates fairly consistently, but it hasn't so now the system is kind of broken. Mid tier players that should be in the league are getting pushed out prematurely.

Anyways I think Shore has been playing really well lately. Wouldn't be opposed to seeing him come in and out of the lineup down the stretch here to keep guys rested for the playoffs.

I'm glad we are finally out of the rebuild. Seems like some teams are still stuck in this never ending rebuild and it's depressing. Only exist to be a farm team and landfill for the league
