That Brad Hunt reminds me of that guy on Hawaii 5-0.Ken Dryden or Brad Hunt, make up your mind.
We could just send it in pieces after the demo is started.I would agree but I also think they don't deserve to play in such a historic building.
100% agree with you!!I pointed out earlier that there is maybe 4 players available with 50% retention that would be good adds that are clear improvements on Shore, which none of them have been moved today.
No room to recall him. He makes more than Shore, Desharnais and Broberg.Maybe the Oilers are going to add Lavoie as a depth RW?

Its a shame it will be here no longer in anycase.
I still remember when the ol Edmonton Gardens came down. Took way more demolition than they anticipated to knock that down.
Yeah. The first and second dynamiting and most of the thing including whole frontage was still standing. They had to end up offing it with ol wrecking balls. Blowing it up real good didn't seem to work. lolDidn't they have to blow it up like 3 times? Haha.
All the good trades happened this weekWhat a crap deadline day. So boring. I have wasted my entire morning.
...but why?Friedman
Hearing JVR to DET
I agree 100% with this assessment. A guy like Foegele is basically a mid level producer in the $2.25-3.25M range but he may be too expensive to keep and might require an asset to move even though he would be a better player than many of the teams with cap space have in his role. If the cap was at $88-90M next year you only move Foegele if you have a clear upgrade for him and you probably get an asset back. It's more this. There are about 10 markets that think that they can contend and want to load up for it, but can't.
Lots of moves, but not enough for a lot of the teams and their fans that are desperate to contend. Beyond just the deadline I think it is diminishing the overall quality of the on ice product over time as well. Teams will walk from the $3M QO on a decent player only to sign a player of lower overall quality to replace them only because it's cheaper.
The arbitration system and QO formula for RFA's only works if the cap escalates fairly consistently, but it hasn't so now the system is kind of broken. Mid tier players that should be in the league are getting pushed out prematurely.
Tre immediately signed Hunt to a 7 year deal, before he had a chance to visit the arena or talk to the coach.

Stauffer saying we're done? I trust him more than Rishaug.
