Question why so low with the revenues now (including the amount the players owe) isnt there room for a fairly sizeable increase?

NHL and PA have an agreement in place to not raise the cap until the Escrow account the players owe the owners is repaid in full.

Most projections have it falling just short of that this season. Close enough that some believe both sides will put pressure on Bettman to let it go and let the cap escalate.

If we had 2 Yamamoto’s, I’d be okay with that. Unfortunately we only have 1 and he’s a gentle breeze from being on IR for the bulk of our playoff run.

Bettman did say recently there is a chance they do have it paid off after this year. Just have to wait and see
