  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. If it doesn't happen the only silver lining is that I have more faith in Paul Coffey working the D (heh) better in the playoffs than Manson.

Right now, it seems Jackson is our only hope to get Holland to do something if being reported is true (7th d-man, etc).

I agree with your point on focusing on ourselves, but that includes looking at our roster and seeing that it might be more than a #7D away from really contending. Especially when we are still running the duo that has been eaten alive every year we have had them together in the playoffs.

They got Barbashev and Blueger last year, hardly going out and “getting everyone”. Nobody was looking at Vegas at a favourite. The teams that went out and took big swings last year and who people had pegged as favorites were Boston getting Orlov and Bertuzzi and Rangers getting Tarasenko and Kane, how’d that work out for them?

You’re kinda proving my point for me with the Columbus example. They went all in and I guess if you consider beating Tampa in the first round and then losing in the second a success then yeah it all worked out for them. But in reality it didn’t work out and they pretty much immediately went into the toilet after that so great call by them there.

I mean there's been nothing at this point to suggest that he's looking for an upgrade over Ceci, but I guess the real idiot will be revealed at the end of the deadline.

And I actually hope that's me because I want to be wrong in this instance.
 
I like how after a hundred years, Holland finally trades a 1st for a rental, and technically, that rental will go in the books as: Sam Carrick.
