Boys don’t worry about what Vegas is doing, these “we’re getting everybody” teams rarely work out. They always end up drinking their own koolaid and caving under the pressure of being the favourite. Oilers are a strong team with two of the biggest game changers in the world, we’ve been the class of the league for awhile now and we haven’t even seen this teams best yet.

No point focusing on what Vegas is doing. Winners focus on winning, losers focus on winners.

They did the same thing last year, remind me how that worked out? I don't recall any caving under the pressure... CBJ in their "buy everyone" year took out that wicked Tampa team.

I agree with your point on focusing on ourselves, but that includes looking at our roster and seeing that it might be more than a #7D away from really contending. Especially when we are still running the duo that has been eaten alive every year we have had them together in the playoffs.

And I still really like Tofolli. He's just got that grit and scoring that would be a nice fit for this group.

TVR makes too much to be a 7th D and is still signed for 2 years after this, and he isn’t good enough to push Ceci or honestly even Desharnais down.

Forward wise they are now where they were last year but with a better defence.

He's good enough to push Ceci, plus he's won a Cup and has a TON of experience.
