The only "improvement" on D is coaching lol. That's it

And Deharnais improving (have to see in pressure games still)
which i'm 100% glad we did the coaching change.
Should be a lot more patient team in the playoffs with Knob & Coff than woodpecker & manson.

McLeod can play RW, because he can do anything lol. Seriously though, I don't see an issue there.

I think acquiring Henrique signals that we're out on Guentzel. Guentzel could have pushed RNH to center. Instead we acquired the center. I think someone like Toffoli makes a lot more sense now. We can't have all 6 forwards in the top-2 lines as left-shots

Are you really that gullible to think that he's some kind of genius concealing a master plan? LOL.

He's paying our AHL backup $5 million/season.

Your just putting words in my mouth. I never said Holland was a genius. He's just not an idiot that goes on national tv/radio and reveal his entire game plan.

Campbell was an obvious miss but is a sunk cost at this point. He's going to be bought out during the offseason anyways. Either way, this has nothing to do with what he says or does with the media.

im sure edmonton could have LTIRd campbell if they wanted, toronto and vegas would have. Was Campbell in a better place mentally when he was throwing down .800s in the A than VGK goalie is down on his snake farm? maybe campbell could buy a cat sanctuary next door

Do you think he’s going to throw anyone under the bus and tell you exactly who he is going to upgrade on?
No, usually he if he has irons in the fire he is vague. He told us exactly what he still wants to do. That feels different.

vegas never had to buy out Lehner. they got 6 mil in free cap and hes still on their books. and he seems less depressed than campbell.

I mean all the rumors seem to back up what Holland is saying. You're giving him too much credit based on blind hope.

This could absolutely be the case. I've actually always liked Conroy - the guy doesn't stop talking.

He's also a dirty unprofessional runt who looks like the cocky guy who talks high and mighty in grade 12 but then gets his ass kicked and turns into the joke

do you believe we have done enough to win it all
To answer your question, yes I do believe they’ve done enough to win it all. The coaching change has been big and Knob has shown to be adaptable and able to adjust. He’s brought more defensive consistency and improved results. I like how they’ve brought in some skilled veterans with a lot of experience, guys who don’t tend to make mistakes when the chips are down. I like that they’ve showed patience and faith in their team because that’s how you get rewarded.

It’s not a video game where you just make a bunch of trades to collect all the best pieces and win. There’s more to winning then just stacking up a roster and that’s why year after year we see teams that nobody expects having success.

The Oilers as constructed are 100% capable of winning a cup. They’ve been elevating as we get further into the season, they’ve got the experience to draw on and they’re showing signs of doing the things that successful teams do and they’ve got Mcdavid and Draisaitl.

Holland/Jackson have to do everything possible to get an upgrade on Ceci. I have no idea what that would be with the movement that has already happened.

If it doesn't happen the only silver lining is that I have more faith in Paul Coffey working the D (heh) better in the playoffs than Manson.
