Why not Chychrun? My Ottawa buddy tells me he's been playing RD most of the year. Cap hit is pretty solid for this year and next as well. The only issue is when he comes up for renewal (same as when Drai and Bouchard kick in).

The only real rumor about Chychrun was that they might look at trading him cause he doesn't like it there and wants out. Which he personally came out and said that it was BS.

Oh for sure. Some of you are having fun with it, some are like “if this doesn’t happen failure” and I think that’s over the top. Like I’d love a big deadline. But I would be perfectly fine with a good middle 6 forward and a depth D, at least based on what’s out there.

I think Henrique is a perfect fit here if it happens. They need a high end 3C that will bolster the bottom 6. I'm surprised that they would go for a pure-rental 3C though.

Yeah I realize Parayko is most likely a pipe dream but I’m not going to say it’s a failure if we don’t get him. We do need like you said at least a middle 6 forward and depth D man though.

Plays C and is a plus player on that sh** ANA team and has 40+ points

That's my guess too, but if the fit is good I'm sure an extension is interesting to explore.
