Love the Hnerique pickup, meh on Carrick but it's fine. This makes me think that the Oilers gave up a 1st since it was 2 players and double retention which isn't so great but...whatever. Lets get a Dman and go for this Cup.

I like Henrique but when Stauffer was saying 2 forwards and a Dman, I hope the 2nd forward wasn't Sam freaking Carrick.

Henrique is a lot better than the Oilers current middling forwards, at least offensively.
Idk much about Carrick tbh, right shooting C though. Is he good at faceoffs?

Last week I recall a tweet suggesting the price for Henrique was like, 2nd + 3rd, and then another pick for retention from 3rd party. We're kinda low on mid round picks, so some benefit of dealing with the Ducks would be their team getting plenty of opportunity to see the Condors.

Yup. Was a key part of the deep run with the Devils in his rookie year but has basically played no playoff hockey since.
Think he’s a solid candidate to be a guy who can still up his game in the playoffs, though.
