So JP doesn’t practice yesterday due to “maintenance”, wonder if he suits up tonight.

He has to or else we play down a man correct?

I officially hate Ken Holland. It was mild dislike before.

Yes he’s made some good moves like Kane and Hyman.

Butt the guy is a dinosaur and past his prime.

Look at New York pushing through making things happens meanwhile back in Moron cave we have Kenny boy letting this Jesse shit go on and on. It affects the locker room. Make no doubt about it.

Get your 7th round pick Holland and start doing your god Damn f***ing job.

I think I might need to eat. Could be hangry
You need an Oh Henry for sure. The melt downs on here right now are stupid. People aren't thinking this through rationally (some are thankfully).

I want something to happen too, but I get that this is just to buy time as Yams needs to be activated.

I don't think they can call up Desharnais without going just over the cap, someone else has to come out. I think we are paying Bouchard an 850k performance bonus this season, no?

Says the guy who won’t acknowledge when Kenny makes a great trade. It takes some time, patience and cap compliant maneuvers. We need to chill.
Please don’t project. You don’t know or things I’ve said in the past.

I’ve acknowledged several good moves by Ken. Including admittedly long being totally wrong on resigning Barrie. I’m not devoid of critical thought.

I can acknowledge good moves in the past and still be unhappy with how he is managing the teams right now. Both things can be true.

Thanks for respectful posts going forward to anything you reply to me.

Yup. It’s the JP saga that’s getting me down really.

Loved the player for a long time.

But the team needs to start moving on.

Agreed I hate these moves to see him play. We just made our roster more weak.

Holloway > pJ any day of the week
Yes, but Holloway doesn't have to go through waivers where JP would. If he goes down but gets claimed, maybe that messes up a deal in the works? I read that Grier had interest in JP before, so maybe that's part of it?

Sucks having zero cap. Seems like something that could have been fixed in the summer. Our defense could have been fixed in the summer too. But not last summer, ONLY this summer apparently.

Holland's making the best of a bad situation. In reality, most people. including himself, thought that JP would play decent to well and be traded early in the season. No one predicted he'd literally forget how to handle a puck.

That sounds like the Holloway move is more than just temporary and that Desharnais is a paper transaction (no mention of him playing, but maybe also since he’s still sick? They also say he’s “coming back to Condors town” so who the f*** knows??)

His puck handling regression has been so bizarre. You wonder if that hip injury and all that surgery just really messed things up. Weird to see such a young player just seemingly forget how to handle and shoot the puck

I highly doubt JP getting claimed would break any EK deal

Sure maybe Grier has interest in JP as he knows it's a free asset, but was he really going to pay much of anything for him?

So is lowering our chances at winning games while fighting for a playoff spot considered good cap management these days?

That’s what pisses me off the most about this situation. The lack of a new body in? Fine, whatever, wait to until the TDL. But downgrading the roster and its flexibility because you don’t want to waive some Euro league bound plug is insane

Huberdeau for Miller. With Calgary retaining money to make both players contract match.

Who says no?:naughty:

So now Vinnie D is the Oilers best Dman.

LOL, this place.

What exactly is wrong with making an obvious statement? He plays better actual defence than 5/6 Oilers D and if Nurse chooses to play stupid hockey (which he tends to do every 2nd or 3rd game) ... welp.

Oilers Goals Against With Desharnais: 2.6 GAA/game, Desharnais has a +9 rating in 12 games

Oilers Goals Against Without Desharnais: 3.44 GAA

That's a huge f***ing difference lol.

You just openly talked about how you hate ken Holland, that he’s a dinosaur past his prime, you made assumptions that he isn’t doing his job, then you appeared to recognize that you were hangry? I just encouraged you to slow down your thoughts and breathe. Let’s just wait and see is all I’m preaching before we judge Kenny.

What did Kane say when Tarasenko was traded? I missed his comments and him seeming to be upset about it.

Hard to keep track of things these days with every #insiderrrrr saying things could possibly maybe potentially eventually probably happen. Or not.
