He didn't have a place to move up to because his team isn't affiliated, so he has to move teams to get to the KHL. Going to SKA may lengthen the timeline though.

Not very upset to see him to go to a bad team and face a lot of shots. Seems like there’s some real but quiet hype on Zavragin. Goalies are voodoo so I’m not going to get excited for him, but if he is the next big goalie out of Russia,that actually could go a long way for this team. They’re going to need an elite goaltending as long as the defense lacks elite talent.
