You know skaters play like, less than half the game, right?
Average NHL forward/defenseman skate anywhere from 3-5 miles per game.
A goalie might skate 0.5 to 1 mile per game.

We're Dolan's ******* child
This was Lundqvist's best game since in Dallas and this team still lost by 3 ****ing goals. I think this was his best playoff game since game 5 last year too.

Anyone think that AV should have juggled the lines there with 6-7 minutes to go? We weren't getting anything...couldn't have hurt.....
Few thoughts:
I'm not buying the fatigue stuff unless they look similar tomorrow. Otherwise this looks like your typical Ranger playoff game following a win.
Mcd & Girardi need to be more consistent in the playoffs here. Along with some others but those two really stand out. They're having trouble putting together back to back quality games. If they ever find consistency, that's when you will see commanding series leads.
The coach needs to make some changes on the PP. Along with that top line. It hasn't worked, change it.
I never thought they would win this game. As far as I'm concerned they did their job on the road. They need to win their home games now.

My opinion on Dorsett is that he is very replaceable. He is ok at what he does but nothing special. Pretty good skater and ok offensively for a 4th liner. Takes a ton of stupid penalties and has done that throughout his time here. I would not pay him above league minimum if he were a FA and would prefer to use a cheaper vet or call up a kid to play his spot (that is if he was not on the team).

I'd chalk this up to fatigue or a bad game and be like "ok we got a split". But we play them again tomorrow. How will this team play if they were too tired today? What a joke the NHL is. James Dolan books ****ing concerts and because of him the Ranger are likely going to lose the first 2 of 3. What a moron.
And how much rest does the average NHL forward/defenseman get between shifts?
Is it more than a goalie's "approximately zero?"
