I could be wrong but my suggestion:

Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovský
Laine - Dvorak - Gallagher (Dvorak and Gallagher have good positional play, Gallagher is a warrior, Dvorak has a great FO)
Newhook - Beck - Anderson (three fast, aggressive players)
Heineman - Evans - Armia

I would be interesting to see if Laine could benefit from playing with Suzuki for a few games.

Carolina has been kind of crappy on the road this year. They're below .500 (12-14-3). They're also only 5-4-1 in last 10.

Rantanen has 3 points for them since coming over from Colorado (in 7 games). He hasn't exactly helped them raise their game.

Anyways, they've got some great drama going on over there with the whole will he sign or won't he sign with Rantanen.

Trade Deadline is 11 days away.

I guess we'll see what happens.

Based on the way people are talking here, it sounds like dach is out long term rather than day-to-day?

Has anything actually been said?

For me It's the language they used "further evaluation"
They make it sound like they aren't happy with the initial evaluation?

Like is he being shut down so they can determine what the extent of the damage is.
I would be happier if it was reported as a LBI not related to his knee or something like that.

Wow, Canes are 2 - 4 - 1 with Rantanen and have lost their last 4. And we looked really good coming out of the break...

Will be interesting to see how we do tonight. I can go either way - push for a p lo payoff spot, or another top 5 pick.

Over the past three seasons far too many teams have teed off on the Habs to reverse their fortunes.
I count three or more teams who were horrible heading into the game and went on long winning streaks afterwards.

I'd like to put a "Dead Stop" to that kind of shit.

I wouldn't say we looked great but we did take advantage of a depleted Sens squad and Carolina will be a different test.

It’s all speculation. Some blog stuff has suggested it’s a deeper issue to the same knee he hurt last year. But I’m not sure if there’s any truth to it.

If it is the same knee though, they’re smart to be cautious about it.
