This was Lundqvist's best game since in Dallas and this team still lost by 3 ****ing goals. I think this was his best playoff game since game 5 last year too.

The more that I think about it. The big picture is that we took 1 out 2 from them in their place. If the Rangers take care of business in their home games, the Rangers will win the series. Sweeping a good team like the Penguins was not going to happen. I'm just worried now about the Rangers winning their home games.

Home !!
The Poo line was quiet tonight(basically they all were), the team definitely looked fatigued as they had little energy and made it too easy for MAF.
Would like to see Kreider back asap.

We may win a home game but we aren't winning home games.

If fatigue was a factor tonight then tomorrow night should just be chock full of fun.

This is why I am worried. Rangers will be exhausted tomorrow.

They were given a chance to win tonight because of Hank's stellar play and they all blew it.

Dubinsky is certainly not a better layer than Stepan. That's ridiculous. And I love Dubi.

Down the line, sure, I think Stepan will be better, today, nope. If Dubinsky was playing with Nash at this point in his career, he would easily get the same amount of points the Step does, while bringing way better intangibles.

Stepan had the quietest 50+ point season this year that I have ever seen in all my watching of hockey.

Shake up the lines. Move Hags with Stepan and move Nash to RW. Move MSL to Richards line on the RW and move Carbomb to LW.

Girardi and Klein struggled tonight. I would look at adding Diaz as well.

We're not allowed to discuss the play of individual players from the game here? Confused...

Stepan was a ppg since the Olympics. Stepan>Dubi

“@stevezipay: AV, asked if fatigue was a factor: "Did my goaltender look tired? He's played every minute in the playoffs. If he isn't, no one should be."”

This is ridiculous. The goalie doesn't skate anywhere close to what players do.

You don't get extra points for style. 50 points is 50 points no matter how it is. They are similar offensively now and Stepan is much much better defensively.

Oh? Then why is it goalies are often rested in back to backs and skaters never are?

I'd chalk this up to fatigue or a bad game and be like "ok we got a split". But we play them again tomorrow. How will this team play if they were too tired today? What a joke the NHL is. James Dolan books ****ing concerts and because of him the Ranger are likely going to lose the first 2 of 3. What a moron.

You know skaters play like, less than half the game, right?

Dubinsky is not better than Stepan and his play in the series vs. Columbus is being overrated.

Fantastic sample size.

Dubinsky is the better player today. Stepan will have a higher peak.

And no, I don't need the post Olympic ****. When you're playing with Nash and MSL, you should be putting up points.

What studs are Dubinsky playing with?

It was simply a really bad game. Happens. We've seen it plenty of times before. I'm sure tomorrow will be completely different. No need to think on it. I would like to see Diaz in though. Something has to be done with the powerplay. Lately it's been that we can't even get in the zone. A major major problem with the powerplay for this team is that our centers on the top two PP units most likely have the lowest combined FO% of any two PP centers in the league.

Fatigue isn't a good enough excuse.

You want to make it to the finals then you battle through it.
