I knew Campbell would play again. Andersen had next to no chance of starting. Thankfully too.

Foligno has been a worthless trade.

It's sad. Gave up a 1st and the guy has barely played. Hopefully he's back in game 5, any idea what the injury is ? They said lower body, that hamstring again ?

Nick Foligno has been such a useless trade. Gave up a 1st to get an injured player who has done nothing.

Would have rather Hall. OF COURSE Boston makes a trade that pays off huge for them because everything works out for them.

all in all, Dubas gave up a 1st, a 3rd, two 4th round picks, a 5th, and a 7th for Foligno, Nash, Hutton, and Rittich. none of those really look to be worth it. Dubas could have definitely given up less and gotten more for it, and probably should have

Wonder if Holl is out?

Sandin is #1 pp qb and done very well...Bogo is such a stability back there..

I get Brooks because you can get away with it if you say we're just resting Jumbo on a back to back if that's even who's coming out for Brooks.

The d move yeah I'm really not sure. I think they've all been pretty good unless someone is banged up a bit or they're taking Sandin out but I thought his last game was much better on the d side of things.

While I agree they didn’t do their due diligence with Foligno’s health (pretty sure he didn’t get this injury playing with us), I’m willing to see how it plays out. If leafs lose first round and foligno doesn’t play, it will look terrible

He's been very good with his speed and cutting off lanes, but it hasn't translated to direct opportunities, just sustained pressure and good defensive play.
He was on in the last minute, his speed and reached tipped passes rushed plays by the Habs. It’s the little things he brings, plus he’s just a smart player.

interesting.
I'd assume Nash is out. I know he came with the mantra "when he is on the ice nothing happens" but I legit have barely noticed him in the games he has played. to the point I forget he is playing.

as for D, maybe Bogo needs the night off...he just came back from a lengthy absence. I feel like Sandman has done well with his minutes. But who knows. I trust Keefer. Derm's is more than capable to step in for whoever is coming out

Dubas cant see the future. We're also hoping to pass round one with a healthy foligno.

Maybe we roll with 11 forwards 7 defensemen?

Hyman - Matthews - Marner
Willie - Kerfoot/Matthews - Galch
Mikheyev - Kerfoot - Engvall
Brooks - Spezza - Simmonds

Rielly - Brodie
Muzz - Holl
Sandin - Bogo
Derm

With the goal of having the defense minimize Campbell's responsibility tonight?

We can't call the Foligno trade bad yet. He's done very well the games he's played and this organization is wisely banking on about 20 more hockey games to play.
No sense rushing him in tonight if we want him to play the remaining games.
Not much point in him sitting last night if he was going to play tonight. If he thought he could tough out a game, he would have just played last night and rested today. If hes out until Thursday, it gives him 5 full rest days. Or Saturday, a whole week. If we are in due or die I'm sure he'd be in. This is where depth comes in. We are being tested big time with JT and Foligno out...but if we can make it through, we'll be a better team for it in the end
