I do as well I was thinking if berube gets picked off waivers He would make a good backup on the Regin ( proving he end s up a free agent some how) or did budji make it there yet? Anyways i need to get off this thing and get ready to fly bc here i come again

With Bartosak out for 6 weeks or so, Budaj will probably stick around for a while, then get the ax.

Alot could happen in the next 24 hours. Shore can be sent down to Ontario without waivers or they can put o'Neill on waivers. I am going to say Weal made the Team cuz he is probably like how AA was last year(would get claimed). So still alot can happen within the next 24hours.

well that 2nd pairing is downright terrifying to start the season, was really hoping to see mcnabb/ehrhoff instead. although, i guess if Schultz won the 7th D spot he might have rebounded back into relative form as an NHL defenseman so...???

Never said he didn't and you're probably right his mins would have went down a little However if u look at his mins King was still getting more then Pearson most games before pearson was injured. I can't agree more Pearson and Lucic healthy all year you won't see king in the top 6 as much win win win

It could be situational. I don't know the stats, but maybe King gets a few more shift starting in the defensive zone than Pearson does at ES, but then Pearson doesn't get the same equivalent in the offensive zone to cancel it out. Maybe King gets stuck out on the ice for a few extra shift during a game for whatever reason.

Stoll and King both had more ES time on the ice than Carter in the 2014 playoffs. Stoll had only 4 total minutes less than Gaborik.

Being a top 6 forward, and being in the top 6 in minutes played, can be two different things. I doubt anyone calls or thinks of King as a top 6 guy. Is there a doubt Toffoli is a top 6 forward? No, but he averaged less ES time than King, Stoll, and Lewis last year.
