Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I just listened to the Dubas part and yeah, the Isles would be a team that would fit what Friedman was describing. Add to that the silence and the prior relationship between Lou and Dubas and it's not a crazy thought. We'll see.

The isles should keep Sorokin for just under 8M and 7 years. Anything more is a hard pass
However, I think that the idea of a good goalie is BS, and you just need to have a goalie who fits your system (like the Knights/Avalanche/Wild). Its why I always want to keep Korn around.

This would be a great add, prospectwise.
Hope management is keeping an eye on the situation.
Then again, if Detroit knows this now, they'll looked to flip him while they can.
Some teams bite on such opportunities if they can determine they can sign the player...
As to why he wouldn't want to sign with Detroit, the reasoning may be very obvious. That team has been drafting gobs of players in recent years and has a very difficult pathway to their NHL team.
