Is it me or does Lane Lambert look like future George McFly?

I can see that. Dafoe has crazy eyes though.Not to get too off topic here, but he reminds me of Willem Dafoe.

Every GM in the league has an obsession with DobsonThe obsession that Vancouver fans have over Dobson and Pulock is f***ing annoying, pathetic and delusional. It's like Jan with her "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" routine.
Carbona Not Glue!I see the Canucks fans on the main board are still having massive group glue sniffing sessions....

Not a bad take but I’m still going with Willem Dafoe. Could also have been the estranged brother of Silvio Dante from the Sopranos who never made it to the screen.George McFly's alcoholic uncle.
After losing to the Rags in 1994 they should’ve folded the team and relocated.It's a fanbase that twice rioted and set fire to their city for losing in the SC Finals...
Which is why it is going to be key for NYI to draft well in the next couple of years. They're going to need ELC's/cheap contracts on their roster, at least in the bottom-6 to afford their extensions.As of this moment, Dobson and Sorokin are basically untouchable.
More so than Barzal.
Link = their idiotic postsLink?
I will say that Barzal is driving the play and not holding on to the puck as long as past seasons. His D and backchecking are solid so far. I think he's having a pretty decent year, lack of goals notwithstandingAs of this moment, Dobson and Sorokin are basically untouchable.

To expand on this, the defense (definitely the top-4 and likely including Mayfield assuming he is re-signed) and Sorokin is the backbone of the team and should not be touched now and the foreseeable future. Barzal is our star forward, we need that other offensive star piece to be fully complete.
A Barzal, Dobson, and Sorokin core trio is pretty damn good.
The Islanders currently project to have 13.45M in cap space come the trade deadline. My pipe dream would to be to acquire Horvat and Kane at 50%.

Lee-Nelson-Beauvillier
Horvat-Pageau-Palmieri

Agree regarding the top 2 but as for Barzal, I’ll add this. You don’t sign your young marquee player to a long term contract and then trade him a year or so later. Terrible message to send to your own players and potential future acquisitions.As of this moment, Dobson and Sorokin are basically untouchable.

One would imagine the VAN fans wanting to trade Miller *before* his extension kicks in would appreciate that, but apparently not? Red flags all around.Agree regarding the top 2 but as for Barzal, I’ll add this. You don’t sign your young marquee player to a long term contract and then trade him a year or so later. He’s ours for the foreseeable future.
What's the point in getting Horvat just to play him at wing?The Islanders currently project to have 13.45M in cap space come the trade deadline. My pipe dream would to be to acquire Horvat and Kane at 50%.
