Those were the Dave Brown Flyers and they were so f'n hateable. That upset over them was as much fun as I've ever had as a Ranger fan. Their beating the equally good and heavily favored Caps the series after was almost as much fun.
I still have Peter Zezel & Tim Kerr nightmares

If his salary fits, I don't see a reason to trade him in the immediate future unless it's a lateral move for a similar producer who plays a heavier game or, we luck into a more prolific UFA/RFA who just bumps him so far down the RW depth chart we have to trade him.
I just do not see how in 2 years, you can have a resigned DeAngelo, a resigned Strome and a resigned Bucvhnevich. I think that he will be the odd man out and the return may not be Anderson but a player who will bring something similar to the table

Yeah I don't really understand the Buch hate. Seems like a great 2nd line depth winger who has very good chemistry with Mika but still produces when he doesn't play with Mika. Who I may also add is getting paid exactly what he is worth, even if his next contract gets a bit of a raise.
It is not hate. It is the probability that you can only fit so many people under the cap. I believe that he is the odd man out and will be used to diversify the lineup.

You’re spot on. Buch won’t get another contract here

He writes in a way that doesn't alienate a readership with a fifth grade reading level. I'm only reading his articles now because THERE'S NOTHING ELSE TO DO but good for him to be so settled in a niche that he doesn't have to make any effort in his work.

Just look at the publication he writes for. That says it all.

What does this mean?

Sell high on DeAngelo. I can definitely see Gorton try to do that if he overprices himself out.
Selling high implies that you do not believe that he can continue to do what he was doing. He has done it for a season and a half.

Yeah, if he overprices himself ($7-8m) then Gorton will trade him. But no one is giving him that much money. I believe that a deal gets done around $6 per, either this year or next.

Rangers management loves ADA. A trade isn’t out of the question but they want to re-sign him long term, 4-6 years. Hopefully we keep him but Gorts is a tough SOB and will trade him if he’s asking for too much. Though I think whoever locks up Tony long term is getting a steal

I know but Tony seems like a guy that would hold out for more money. Hopefully he learned that lesson.

I think an arbitration bridge would be a preferable move considering he probably hasn't played at this level long enough to garner sufficient value.

Zezel? meh...he was the Flyers version of Duguay...he was a pretty boy.

I'll give you Tim Kerr tho as he was just a beast back than...4 straight 50 goal years and seemingly scored all the time versus the Rangers.

Ikka Sinasalo and Pelle Eklund were the guys that kept me up at night, wondering which one of them, if not both, was going to toast a Tom Laidlaw and score a key goal for the Flyers....lol

Even if tony holds out for more money he’d still be underpaid. The max he’ll get is like 6-6.5 mil over 5-6 years after talking to my source. Even that would be a steal

Avs player had the virus? This statement makes it seem like this isn't new, but results came in today or recently

It's new and old news.

About a week or so ago, it was known that someone who works at the Pepsi Center tested positive for COVID-19. So, depending on that person and what they touched, I'm not totally shocked a player tested positive and then recovered.
