They have a lot of depth. Their third line has a guy with 11 goals and another with 8 goals in 21 games. Their fourth line has Jason Spezza who has 10 goals and 19 points and Engvall with 18 points in 49 games.

I have never understood this myth. I think people just say it because they assume since they pay Marner/Matthews/Tavares/Nylander a lot they can't have good depth but it's not true.

Who knew that in retrospect, keeping Kadri and using the cap savings on another piece would have been the right move for them?

3 goals on 9 shots against Mike Smith. Oilers have dominated play for the most part. I honestly think if you put Georgiev on that team and let him play every night it would stabilize everything for them. Im a little surprised we havent heard about their interest in him

Holloway isn’t going to matter much if EDM doesn’t improve their goaltending and McDavid/Draisaitl get fed up and ask for a trade.

I dont think that would be the reason. We've heard some speculation that the Rangers would be interested in Greiss/Halak/Marty Jones if the decide to move Georgiev. Getting Holloway for Geo is probably a pipe dream, but were losing him for nothing in the summer, might as well turn him into a 2nd if you can. More ammo for the deadline.

Varlamov? Maybe Holtby though im not sure about him, Greiss?

Eh. I also dont know if that is a better bet for Greiss. Also older. Georgiev at 26, if he can stabilize the net, could be a multiple year solution for them.

Ya the only problem i guess for us is if we trade him we go to Kinkaid? I know Georgiev is a bit odd but if Shesterkin got hurt in playoffs id be comfortable with him in there, can't say the same for Kincaid
