His metrics are much better, now, but if you're in the top 6 and can go 20 games without a goal, something ain't right.

I feel the same way about Reaves, but he's probably too popular for that to happen.

I think everyone worrying about barron really shouldn't. His defense was good but his offense was nil during his tenure here this season. They probably are rounding out his game in practice. He did well in the ahl, and now they're slowly adjusting him. Why rush it?

Morgan Barron should be replacing McKegg and he is not right now and that is telling.

They're not winning anything until they acquire an actual goalie and move on from pajama boy and replace him with a couple of good middle six pieces to give the forward corps more depth.

They have a lot of depth. Their third line has a guy with 11 goals and another with 8 goals in 21 games. Their fourth line has Jason Spezza who has 10 goals and 19 points and Engvall with 18 points in 49 games.

I have never understood this myth. I think people just say it because they assume since they pay Marner/Matthews/Tavares/Nylander a lot they can't have good depth but it's not true.

He’s going to turn 24 next season. It’s getting to be about that time. I don’t remember if he is waiver exempt next year or not but usually if you haven’t made it by your 24th birthday, you never will.

Even Panarin started in the NHL before 24.
