a 21 year old with 11 goals and 23 points in 63 games has shown he can't do anything? That's just as good of production as Kakko and Lafreniere.

Last year he was great. This year he's shooting 3.7% so he's bad. Heard this story time and time again.

I just dont get where this Cole Caufield love is coming from. Watch him play he does nothing that would help this team. I feel like he is playing bc they have no1 else.

You and others talk about how we need centers but here we are discussing trading away our best trade chip for a winger. I just want everyone to know what type of player Caufield is. He is not someone who we should be trying to trade for.

He is bad because all he has is his shot. Watch him play. He cant win board battles, coasts on the defensive side of the puck, is slow, and doesnt add anything to this team.

Great he has as many points as kakko and Laf while they have been playing on lower lines, caufield has been on the top 2 and top PP unit.

This would be exactly like us trading Mcdonagh away for Scott Gomez.

Ritchie has 1 less year remaining on his contract. The buyout might be preferable to buying out Nemeth, if it comes to that. It depends on how they want to allocate the money.

Ritchie would cost 300k and 1.1 mil. Nemeth would be 1 mil, 0, 1 mil and 1 mil.
