Today’s Media Availability. Ryan Lindgren and Filip Chytil.
I was 100 percent serious. Saw his name in an article before I clicked on here and decided to ask.Not sure if this is serious but... his dad's name is Yuri
Would do this immediately, which is why it isn't going to happen. Guhle was a name we liked that year, and honestly I wonder if Gorton would have taken Guhl over Schneider if he was there at that pick.
Based on?
I am very nervous about this too. The thing is he can go out and bring in 2, 3 low cost rental guys if he wants and satiate Dolan's bloodlust and not go spending a shit ton of important assets on short term fixes. Hopefully with the Knicks back to being crappy and the Rangers on the path for the playoffs he goes back to messing around with them.It is and i wish they would show patience, but i get the feeling Drury will move it this year.
They did, but Guhle went before we moved up for Schneider and I know that Edge said that we liked him. It's probably likely they had Schneider above Guhle but I do wonder. Regardless I think Gorton is happy to have him in his farm. They had Schneider much higher than they picked him at.
I'm surprised you are burning Othmann's ELC year next season since you're one of the hardest "2nd window" advocates on here.
I think if a rookie forward plays here next season it'll be either Cuylle or Barron.
The power of my air flow.
If you're asking for the validity of said rumor? I don't think there is any, someone mentioned it thinking maybe we could pry away one of their previous guys with one of the guys currently in our system. They'd likely be looking to add players along with Guhle rather than trying to swap him for someone else.
But if there was any way to make that happen, I'm all about it. Guhle is one of my favorite D prospects not in the league yet.
Lehkonen-Goodrow-Blais
It would be affordable and more than solid as a 3rd line shut down line.
If he's available, I don't imagine he'll be cheap. How about a cheap option at the trade deadline, Nick Paul UFA at season’s end. Can play center and wing.
We may be saying the same thing here, but in my opinion, Laf and Kakko are going to have to support whoever centers them, not the other way around.
This forward corps is built on the wing. That’s not going to change unless we decide to trade one or more of Panarin, Kreider, Laf and Kakko. You can’t pay stars at every position.
If Laf and Kakko become the players they are meant to be, they will get paid, and all we’ll be able to afford is a cheap guy to stick in between them. We need to find the right cheap guy, or guys. Trading for and developing a star 2C has to come at the expense of one of the other young forwards. You can’t have stars at every position with the cap.
This is exactly what’s going on with Panarin and Strome right now. We can’t afford to keep Strome, but we also probably don’t have to because Panarin can find similar success with any no name that can skate.
Coach Gerard Gallant, Today’s Media Availability.
I'd think he would be a guy Ottawa would sign, but if not yes they should look at him. Gallant had him over the summer at the Worlds. How about a cheap option at the trade deadline, Nick Paul UFA at season’s end. Can play center and wing.
Rangers biggest problem is the center ice position. You can't go out and throw money on a third liner without figuring that out first.
If he's available, I don't imagine he'll be cheap.

He won't be cheap though.
They had Schneider much higher than they picked him at.
He also lost plenty because the team in front of him wasn't good enough.
Going after spelling on a message board post? That's when I know I've won my argument.
BarclayAn unexpectedly hot Chytil could solve a lot of problems.
Still need to have someone take faceoffs for him, though.
silly dude, I am not reliving the nils conversation and where/how he was projected to be used and what he was when he came over. just silly
No he won't go for a first. But he's the type of player teams want at the deadline for playoff pushes, if he's on the market there will be a bidding war for him.Could he go for a 1st? I would not do that. But would Blues 2ed be enough?
If NYR are going down the VK for Lekhonen route, they need to have a VERY good idea of what he’s looking for in his next deal.
