Makes no sense for us. Poor skater and will need a 7.5mil qualifying offer.Did @Edge say he heard Miller hasn’t been the most talked about Canuck a few days ago too? Hmm
What contract term dictates a rental? 22 ufa? 23 ufa? 24 ufa? Seriously asking.
I don't think JT Miller makes that much of a difference for this team's overall 5v5 struggles, no.
It's kind of a team wide thing at the moment.
He leads his team in even strength points this season with 25. He'd be 3rd on the Rangers at EV points and Gauthier would be the odd man out with Chytil moving to RW in the top 9. Do you actually believe this wouldn't make much of a difference in 5v5?
If dach can be had for nils, kravtsov and maybe a first you have to do it
It does when those guys don't win games for the goaltender. This is should be incredibly evident at this point in the season based on their play on the ice and the underlying numbers that all confirm this.
We are winning. Can anyone explain why McKegg keeps playing instead of Barron? What does this coach have against Barron?
No, I don’t. The team struggles across all four lines. It simply employs too many negative 5v5 players or too many kids who need maturation.
I don’t think there is one or two players who vault this team into the true upper echelon.
So basically no one on cap friendly?I would say someone who you don’t already know the expiration date.
McKegg stinks but I havent seen anything out of Barron that really makes me go “wow” either. Can anyone explain why McKegg keeps playing instead of Barron? What does this coach have against Barron?
They haven't matter as much as Igor has, to the point where this team would not be anywhere near that lofty point total without him playing insane literally every game. That's the hard truth.Fox, Kreider, Bread, Mika, Trouba, are all big parts of why the Rangers are on pace for 113pts. I don't know if I could be a Rangers fan thinking their efforts don't matter while knowing they are signed for so long. Maybe we can trade Igor for an average goalie and some prospects?
I mean barron at least has some hands and while he's not as fast, he doesn't fumble the puck as bad either.McKegg stinks but I havent seen anything out of Barron that really makes me go “wow” either.
You’re now known as Lil Larry, lol. What Larry is saying in his latest article is pretty much exactly what I've been saying on here (which is no surprise because we all know he comes here for his articles, hi Larry!).
Miller represents a short term and expensive fix. He won't be here past next season. If the Rangers are going to expend valuable assets on players they should not just rush at the first one they see, they should wait until the right player comes along.
RB has been Larry long before I have! You’re now known as Lil Larry, lol.

Solution is they have to be coached better and they need additional players and the best players on this team need to play like it day in and day out. They are too inconsistent this season to be considered anything other than a first round out.so what is your solution? We obviously have forwards and dmen having incredible individual seasons. Who needs to go? Is this gallant’s fault? Trade Igor for an average goalie before he gets too expensive and will be surrounded by less talent?
You do it yesterday but that's not happening unless Chiarelli gets that job.If dach can be had for nils, kravtsov and maybe a first you have to do it
So you think we have the talent for a playoff run, but the coaching is the problem? Do you think gallant can do better, or do we need someone else? What would our record be with better coaching?Solution is they have to be coached better and they need additional players and the best players on this team need to play like it day in and day out. No, we need more talent, more out of Laf and Kakko and better coaching in order to even think about a "run." Team as is isn't making it past Carolina in round 1.So you think we have the talent for a playoff run, but the coaching is the problem? Do you think gallant can do better, or do we need someone else?
