Rangers one of four teams mentioned on Chiarot.

I'm not for or against acquiring Chiarot; just wanted to confirm what I thought the post said LOL.

Maybe Chiarot would play better with a better team around him; not stuck with him long term. At the right price, he could be useful, but I don't want to give up a first round pick for a rental, and not trading Kravtsov for him. Maybe a 2nd and 5th rd pick or a semi decent prospect and a 5th rd pick (Gorton would crack a rib laughing at those offer)

I love how in 1 week Nils was close to holding no value/throw in because he's playing in the AHL and now can get some other teams high end prospect. Don't get me wrong I would 100% prefer Nils for any of them (except Hayton) over 1 1/2 seasons of Miller and the other assets we'd use up. Nils for Turcotte/Dach would be a great deal for both teams.

Also have to love how many times I’ve been told he can’t get a young center except now maybe he can.

I think Dach could be a good player... but isn't he another Panarin, where the needle is waaaaaaaay too far to the 'look to pass' area

I'd like an 'Attack' player. JTM in that sense fits the mold I guess.

Dach can center Kakko eventually and we need that player to get him the puck.

Kirby Dach or JT Miller?

This shouldnt even be a question

Give me Kirby all day every day. Thats the center of the now and future for us. You empty the cupboard for him.

It shouldn’t be a question but some of our more intransigent posters will make it one.

Jones replacing Nemeth makes 6, you need a 7th.

Take your pick. Hajek, Tinordi, Reunanen, any cheap free agent bottom pair d that can be had for 1 million or under. The spot you are talking about is both not hard to fill, nor is it expensive.

Yeah but it's one less million you have available.

Agreed, I hope next year they continue to allow jones and schnieder as the 3rd pair. Reunanen has been solid when up, he should get more chances. Tinordi and Nemeth can easily get off this team. Its time to allow these kids to take over. Only way to get experience is by letting them play. Plus when everyone talks about playoff experience, the only way to get it is to be in it and play in it. Let the kids play

I would move Kravtsov and Lundkvist for the right return, which to me is not a pure rental.

This is not an accurate statement, like at all. We traded pieces for Nash, which we turned into Strome, Key and Lindgren.

Percisely it's Dubinski, Anisimov, Erixon and 1st for Buchi (ultimately Blais and a 2nd rd pick in 2022), Key, Strome and Lindgren.

Which is still good, but not what you said.

Ok, so we traded:

Artem Anisimov
Brandon Dubinsky
Tim Erixon
1st
Michael Grabner

for

6 years of Rick Nash
Pavel Buchnevich
Ryan Lindgren
Ryan Strome
K'Andre Miller
Riley Hughes
Matt Beleskey
Yegor Rykov
