Kakko
Formerly Chytil
Optional practice, according to Vince, so not too much info, but 89 is back, and somehow weirder than pre-crash
Or it shows confidence in your core vets and that Kakko, Chytil and Kravtsov will develop and show growth..
The point of the move is to bring balance.
The writing is on the wall for Buch. We can trade him this offseason or next. He wont be here long-term IMO.Kakko and Chytil can be promoted by unloading Strome and Fast (or 'demoting' him.)
I'd caution against moving Buchnevich. Hes not untouchable by any means but of the guys I'd consider to listen on, I think hes at the very bottom of my list.
Buch + our pick for a top5-10 pick is another possibility. If we see another 'Petterson' or guy we're enamored with.
Georgiev confirmed starter tomorrow.
don’t be surprised when Gauthier is scratched to keep McKegg in who frankly should be playing instead of Howden.
I get the feeling that Miller will need more time to work on the nuances of defense. I still see the upside, but he is still fairly new at playing D at a high level.Miller is the obvious one, but don't be surprised to see Robertson or Reunanen get extended looks next training camp.
No Pressure @ PHI Hank... only playing for 3rd spot in the division.. Have this crazy hot strreak goingGeorgiev confirmed starter tomorrow.

Bet we sign a LD near league minimum in the summer. He'll go in and out of the lineup, and the fanbase will be split on him. In 2 years, he's either a consistent 3rd pairing guy on a good team or in Europe.
Buchnevich is so much better than Strome its not even funnyThe writing is on the wall for Buch. We can trade him this offseason or next. He wont be here long-term IMO.
Even bumping Strome to RW to let Chytil center Panarin and Strome works. Finding a 3C requires more salary to be moved. It's either Strome or Buch... but eventually both, will be gone IMO Considering we have Kakko and Kravtsov, I'd assume Buch would be the first to go
hypothetically..
Kreider Zibs Kakko
Panarin Chytil Kravtsov
Lemieux ????? Fast
Barron Howden Gauthier
It could be Strome but he's not an effective 3c. It could be Howden but he's not physically capable yet IMO. A Bonino would work perfect

I actually feel bad for Hank
I wonder if, should the Panthers miss the playoffs, if they would sell low on a guy like Matheson. Or Dallas would move a guy like Oleksiak. Or LA with MacDermid. Colorado with Zadorov. Outside of a Trouba, if the team moves or buys out Staal, the defense as a group isn’t overly large. It may make some sense to add someone with some size and strength to handle the front of the net and impose a bit physically. I’m not talking about someone who can’t play and perhaps some of the ideas above aren’t good but I do think that’s something Gorton would be looking to add.
Edmundson and Dillon would be the options as UFA’s that stand out who play that style.
matheson has an 8 year contract. They offered him for Brady Skjei. No way!

KCB kept the team afloat when Mika was out. That was our best line up until that point.I'd like to see
Panarin Zibby Kakko
Kreider Chytil Buch
No one said it wasn't realistic to move skjei without taking salary. What?It is realistic. You just dont want to accept it.
Just as it wasn't realistic Skjei would be moved without receiving salary back. Like I've been saying, it may cost a sweetener but it could get done. They are not owed much after July 1st.
I agree but they're both leaving... eventually.Buchnevich is so much better than Strome its not even funny
and we must keep him just for the memes

I've been saying this for like 2 years nowZadorov is someone that intrigues me..more snarl BUT Sakic is a pain
I think Hank steps up as he has throughout his career. There is not a more prepared player in this league imo.No Pressure @ PHI Hank... only playing for 3rd spot in the division.. Have this crazy hot strreak going
