Bruh. People are still bitching about Hugh Jessiman from SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO.
Well that pick was utterly humiliating.

Kreider isn't getting a 1st, top prospect, and an impactful roster player unless Gorton allows a team to negotiate an extension with him.
1st and a B prospect. A throw-in roster player if the team needs cap relief. The Toffoli deal set the market.

Why is there so much speculation over Kreider’s return? They traded McDonagh, Nash, Zuccarello, and Hayes at the TDL. We should have a good idea of the return. I know he’s the best rental available, but he’s still a rental. There’s nothing wrong with setting your expectations low.
This is Sergachev all over again. I don’t want to read people bitching over the return for years after the fact like that trade.

I find it bizarre to have that reaction to a draft pick choice from almost two decades ago. ymmvWell that pick was utterly humiliating.
I have it on good authority that they can, do, and that no one checks. I'm not going to reveal my source however (you're welcome @Bob Richards)
I think Kreider has been better than Toffoli lately though and overall is a better player...it also sounds like perhaps that's just what the Rangers are doing now, trying to scare up a deal and then saying ok if we like the deal you can talk to his agent and see if an extension can be negotiated. Sounds tenous and complex but maybe they get the most value out of it if they can swing it
. I honestly think they want to keep him but are only trading him if somebody gives in to their demandsI do not understand the difference between the Rangers have not made Kreider available and them talking to every GM who calls and asks about him?
What are they responding with, no he's not available, call back later?
Well that pick was utterly humiliating.
A child born when Jessiman was picked thinks your taste in music sucks and their safety school is Boston College. So was the McIlrath pick even though some people on here still say he's an NHLer
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking toothat’s called asking for the moon because you aren’t really looking to trade the player unless you’re blown away.
Kreider > Toffoli by a margin.
If that's accurate on the ask, I think the Rangers get it unless they're getting a younger RFA with term.
. Yeah that pick made no sense. We literally used a top 10 pick on an enforcer lolSo was the McIlrath pick even though some people on here still say he's an NHLer
I saw someone eat there own puke for 60$ 40 years ago and still have night terrors thinking about it so could you at least warn the board about the content of the video. Would have no interest seeing it lolnot going to happen. I'll eat my own shit and livestream it to you guys if we get Newhook.

Gorton did the right thing. No need to trade a young goalie unless you get what you want. I think some people act like we are a bottom feeder like the Kings. We are pretty damn close and if not for being in such a tough division I think we would be in the playoffsYeah that’s what I’m thinking too
Same shit Gorton was doing with Georgiev when it’s obvious no one is trading a top 6 forward for a goalie who’s done much of nothing
If he is unavailable how can the other teams know what their demands are?. I honestly think they want to keep him but are only trading him if somebody gives in to their demands
not going to happen. I'll eat my own shit and livestream it to you guys if we get Newhook.
Collective trauma - WikipediaI apologize for infecting this thread with McIlrath and Jessiman lamentations.
