I still think we are signing him for what it’s worth
I still think we are signing him for what it’s worth
I also hate "top-six center" to describe one of the top two centers on your team.I hate the phrase ‘hockey trade’.
The fact that you hear all these other names coming up, it tells me they're looking for avenues to move salary. Whether it be Buch, Strome or Skjei.I still think we are signing him for what it’s worth
Honestly I think that is for the best. I could understand if we were a bottom feeder...we aren’t. Also from what I’m hearing the packages we would be getting seem subpar.I still think we are signing him for what it’s worth
We don’t know which of Kreider Strome Buch and Fast are traded. We don’t know what returns were getting for any that are. Those might require protection also. On top of that, yes- Chytil, Lemieux, Gauthier, Howden. Those are all players I don’t want to lose for nothing.
You’re the one getting worked up. I only pointed out that Gauthier will require protection. No one had said that yet.
that's technically a hockey trade.Oh no, now we're double not getting Kyrou

Well, it's Dreger, Friedman and Pagnotta.I'm not buying what Dreger is selling...sorry I'm not. There is no way on gods green earth Gorton is dealing Kreider to the hated Islanders. You think Gorton wants to make them better to where with Kreider who would be a sweet piece that they need desperately and who couldl potentially down the road be a reason they beat us in the playoffs?
Yeah me neither.
That my friends is a recipe to get fired when you get cute and deal a solid player to your arch rival. No ****ing way this is happening and knowing Dreger and his antics, he's probably is getting misinformation to see if some team blinks and either pays too much or the Rangers get too little. Gorton needs to chat with Sakic and get a deal done. I don't even want Kreider on Boston...sorry as he'll come back and haunt us there too. Send him out West and tho I love Kreider...send him as far away from MSG as you can.
You want to start a revolt? Trade him 10 miles away to the Islanders....see what happens?
I'm not even sure I can even recall a Ranger Islander pure hockey trade and there is a reason for that because no GM even Snow was stupid enough to risk their job if one of these deals backfired.
This is a non story and Dreger just being Dreger.
yes we don't know which is why I said this discussion will be more relevant after the deadline
Well, it's Dreger, Friedman and Pagnotta.
. You are only saying he would be an idiot because you want to trade him which is your right I guess. But honestly who the hell is left that would give us a great return? Bruins have the 30-31 overall pick and a shitty farm system. Colorado also has a high pick and has no intention of trading their top prospects. The Isles? Maybe but I don’t see Gorton doing that. The Rangers aren’t tanking, they are pretty close to being a playoff team. Can’t keep trading EveryoneKreider would be an idiot to take a discount
and Gorton finally has the top prize on the deadline, and be able to get a really nice return, and watch him screw it up by signing a contract they’ll regret in two years
Islanders suck. I hate the franchise and I hate the team. Barzal is the only good player.
They have nothing to offer us
Count on itIf we sign Kreider, I hope there isn't an NMC that will handcuff them for years to come.

Then I don't hate it. I could not have been more clear.what if it’s to describe your 6th best center?
If they can sign him for 5 years instead of 7 and none of the other teams are really budging on their offers then it should be ok. EDIT: and NO NMC/NTCKreider would be an idiot to take a discount

Then Greg McKegg is a top 6 center.what if it’s to describe your 6th best center?
